Green = declared λD per an EN/national product standard or authority approval → accept, apply the declared→design step. Amber = sound method but not a declared design value → apply the conservative uplift and flag. Red = indirect/non-standard/no method → not acceptable as primary λ; seek proper evidence. Design λ is an estimate for early design; certification uses the product-specific design λ.
