FAQs

Do i need my own blower door kit?
No. You’ll have hands-on access during the workshop. If you’re planning to offer testing commercially, we can point you to common NZ kit options and setup considerations afterwards.

Is this suitable if i’m brand new?
Yes. Level 1 is the entry level for houses and other simple buildings. If you can follow a process, take notes, and ask questions, you’ll be fine.

What do i need to complete before the workshop?
The online theory modules. They’re self-paced. Completing them first means we can spend the Cromwell days on practical skills, troubleshooting, and exam readiness.

Where exactly is it?
Hector Egger, Cromwell. Once you’re booked, we’ll send the exact address, arrival info, and parking notes.

What time does each day run?
8:00am to 4:00pm both days (Tuesday 17 March and Wednesday 18 March 2026).

What happens at the end — do i sit the exam?
Yes. The Cromwell workshop includes the practical plus the theory and practical exams required for ATTMA Level 1 certification.
